tick? engine noise
alright so i got a tick tickin coming from the injector side area of my engine. literally a tick.. i'm runnin some fuel system cleaner through it to see if it helps but what do you guys think? it disappears sometimes after and sounds perfect but comes back. i'll try to get a recording up if i can. any simple solution if its a noisy lifter? or whats the best way to clean them? any ideas would be great, i'm not too worried at the moment tho

sorry bout the delay, computers been pretty welfare hah. nope she's all stock... oh an update when i rev it up for bout five seconds, it dissappears, then comes back sometimes. but usually after its left for a while it starts up again hah

ya lifter get the 3g lifters they are cheap and if you need to change your timming belt anyway its a good time to get them

1995 tsi awd- 6bolt, dsmlink v2.5, walbro 255, -8an fuel line, fp 68 hta turbo, extreme pis 16g install kit, precision 1000cc injectors, fp exhaust manifold, act street light flywheel,1mm oversized valves, 3 angle port job, 3 inch turbo back exhaust, aeromotive fpr, aeromotive fuel rail and alot of work to put it all back together

Definitely sounds like lifter tick. As far as I know there's no real issue with the noise other than being slightly loud. At least you know they're still pushing oil
